MV Workshop Acceptable Use Policy

17 August 2026Business-to-business platform

1. Purpose

This policy applies to every Authorised User of MV Workshop. The Customer must ensure its users understand and follow it.

2. Accounts

Use only your own account. Do not share passwords, authentication links or privileged sessions. Do not attempt to access another workshop, another customer's data or an MV administrative area without authorisation. Notify the Customer administrator or MV promptly if an account may be compromised.

3. Lawful and appropriate data

Do not upload information the Customer is not entitled to collect, use or disclose. Do not use MV Workshop for covert or unlawful surveillance, harassment, discriminatory profiling, unlawful monitoring, or unrelated sensitive personal information. Do not put unnecessary health, criminal-offence or other sensitive details into free-text fields.

4. Workshop and inspection records

Users must not falsify inspections, signatures, rectification, brake-test records, labour time, parts, invoices or other evidence. Only competent and authorised people should complete or sign activities assigned to their role. Never mark work complete merely to clear a dashboard alert.

5. Safety

Do not treat the Platform as a substitute for physical inspection, competent judgement, statutory maintenance, manufacturer's instructions, workshop safety controls or operator roadworthiness decisions. If the Platform is unavailable, use the Customer's contingency process for safety-critical work.

6. Security

Do not probe, scan, attack, bypass or interfere with security, authentication, Row Level Security, rate limits, storage controls or another tenant. Do not upload malware, executable payloads or intentionally harmful files. Do not use automated scraping or excessive requests that could degrade the service without written permission.

7. Intellectual property

Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or use the Platform, code, templates or documentation to create a competing service except to the extent a right cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Communications and integrations

Do not use notification, email, API or export features for spam, deception, unlawful marketing or unauthorised disclosure. Check recipients and customer identifiers before releasing records or invoices.

9. Enforcement

MV may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect security, other customers, legal compliance or service availability. Serious or repeated misuse may result in termination under the Platform Terms.
